Message A TT is by definition less reliable. It has more points of failure, it has higher cylinder pressure, it is more prone to detonation, etc., etc.

Don't get me wrong. I have '91 TT that I love. I have put several thousand track miles on it. I have burned up the engine twice. The first time was absolutely my fault - I let it overheat at MIS on the oval. The second time it burned up the #6 cylinder at Gingerman, I don't really know why.

If your ultimate goal is reliablity buy a car with a low stressed engine, an N/A, a Honda, whatever.

On the other hand I fully advocate buying your passion and dealing with the consequences.
